Effective date: October 13, 2026
Hiroshi Miyawaki (the “Developer”) has set out this policy to explain how the iOS app “Volleyball Scoreboard+” (the “App”) handles information about its users.
The App does not require an account, and the Developer does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Match data is stored only on your device and is never sent to the Developer’s servers (the Developer does not operate any server for the App).
This information is used only to make the App work and is not sent anywhere else (except as described in section 3). Deleting the App removes this information from your device.
When you use Two-Device Mode, the App uses Apple’s Multipeer Connectivity framework to communicate directly with nearby devices over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It does not go through the internet or any server operated by the Developer.
For this reason, the App asks for permission to access your local network. If you do not allow it, Two-Device Mode will not work, but you can still use the App on a single device. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
The App shows ads using Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC. To deliver ads, Google and its partners may collect and use information such as your advertising identifier (IDFA), device and OS information, IP address, approximate location, and ad viewing and interaction history. This information is handled in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
Before using your advertising identifier (IDFA), the App asks for permission through iOS App Tracking Transparency. If you do not allow tracking, you can still use the App and ads will still be shown, but they may be less relevant to your interests. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
In regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App obtains your consent for ads through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choices at any time from the App’s Settings screen.
“Remove Ads” (a one-time purchase) is provided through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Payment is processed by Apple, and the Developer never receives payment information such as your credit card number. The Developer only receives the type of item purchased and whether the purchase is valid.
If you have enabled “Share with App Developers” in your device settings, Apple may provide the Developer with crash reports and usage information that do not identify you. This information is used only to fix bugs and improve quality.
The App is not directed at any particular age group. Children under 13 should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Except for collection by the advertising provider described in section 4, the Developer does not share your information with third parties, unless required by law.
If you contact us by email, your email address and message are used only to respond to your inquiry.
The Developer may update this policy when necessary. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
